Matanani, Sabah: 25-27 June 2011

Eagerly for this trip, as i never fish in Matanani area. Although the earlier plan is to fish at Mangalum Island area, the skipper decided to go to Matanani.  Water depth for us to fish between 40-220m!!!!

My fish calender application, shows 54-11% chances, i have high expectation from the story i heard from my friend who previously fished these area.

I considered this trip is my poor fishing trip as the biggest fish is only a 6kg mangrove jack, caught using Pak Nico's handline. :(.

No bigeyes during nighttime. No Gts. On jigs, i caught a small rainbow runner, which to embarrass to take photo. But i do enjoy the company of friends who have "same head". Jokes and stories were shared during fishing. In fact three of us, played skin game for each hole the boat stopped. Who catch the 1st fish and the biggest.
