Carpenter : Gamma "γ" 120-220 vs Maihime "Princess Dancer" 120-220 vs Gen-Ei "Ghost" 120-225
Got few friends who ask me the difference between γ-120, Maihime 120 and Gen-Ei 120. First answer is I am not claim to be an authority in the field of rod, lure and equipment testing. Should refer to official Carpenter site.
Anyway, below is just my feedback.
Both γ-120 and Maihime length is 220mm while Gen-Ei is 5mm longer. I feel that Maihime has the biggest head shape, followed by γ-120 and the smallest headshape is Gen-Ei. Need to buy a vernier scale to confirm the exact size.
Tested all 3 with TBL80/30, Stella SW14000 loaded with Powerpro 80, leader Fisherman 150lb and Decoy Saltwater 6/0 hooks + Carpenter 250lb splitrings. Found that Gen-Ei has smaller and tighter sharper "S" swim compared with γ-120 and Maihime. Both Maihime and Gen-Ei are relatively easier to "play". Both Maihime and Gen-Ei heads tends to broke surface faster than γ-120. γ-120 produced the thickest bubble trail due its "dive" action. With Gen-Ei, i can "chug" fast at the highest speed. γ-120 has more body rolling action. Maihime can be played with shorter pitch compare to γ-120. Well that is just my feedback. Hopefully i can make a video to explain more clearly.

New 2018 STUDIO Oceanmark No Limit 13 SW16000 ver 2
Got my hands on this very nice spare spool for my Stella 2013 SW14000XG. I thought it just another SOM spool compared with the previous 2013 version. I was totally wrong.
I haven't got any chance to test the new spool with fish-on so have no idea about the drag power and smoothness. Notice few "?improvements?" were made i.e. teflon drag washer, stacking patterns, tapered spool lip, reduced weight.
