Light Casting Lures

After gone to Pekan last month, i got addicted by casting "small' sinking lures with Stella 5000 filled with TuffLine 20lb matched with Xzoga Custom PE2. Bought a few for my next Pekan trip in May. Got 3 Jackson Pin Tail Tune 40g lures, 1 Ima Honey Trap 95ss, 1 Ima heavy Surfer 90, 2Yozuri/Duel Livebait Jig Minnow.  These accroding to Azhar MJ, these lures are proven to catch coral trout, diamond trevally, GT, spanish mackerel and cobia at Karang Luas and Berhala Island.

Will use #1 Owner Stinger Treble 3X ST-56TN on all of these lures.

One thing i need to do is to change few guides on the Sabel if i want it to be a perfect casting rod. Otherwise this Sabel is only for pure jigging mode.

Been planning to collect swimbaits this year. Already have a few Duel Surface Slide. Other candidates in mind include CraftBait, ValleyHill and Orion Lures.

Got the Volador from Tacklebox SS15 Subang Jaya.

Jig: Patriot Design "The Blast Edge"

Got these jigs as for my last 2007 shoping at Ah Boys Sri Kembangan.  Many resemblance of Sevenseas Hooker 7 Anatahan jig.

Love the holograms of these jigs. Probably need to put 1/2 drop of superglue to secure the 3D ruby coloured eyes.  Probably due to inexperience in production, the finished quality still poor, especially the full hologram jigs - you can noticed the lines where hologram stickers met.  Even the labeling is also inconsistent.  Areas the the eys also need to be improved.

Planning to go to SunVista wreck on 31-1 Jan 2008 with Ah Chong of Lumut.

New Jig Collection: Sevenseas Hooker Jigs

I'm now a firm believer in "Hologram DO Catch Fish". Therefore without hesitate i bought one Hooker 1 and one Hooker 7 Anatahan Sevenseas jigs during my hometown weekend. Both of them are coated with hologram stickers.
